Xbox One Controller should be listed here. If it isn't, right click it, and Uninstall device. See if Xbox Controller is listed there, and if it is, check that it's not disabled (it would have a small down arrow). Look under Sound, video, and game controllers. If it does show up here, make sure it is set as the default device.įailing that, right-click Start button (or press Windows+X) > Device Manager Just to be clear, when you say it's not picking up, are you looking in Control Panel > Sound > Playback? And it's not listed there? Be sure to right-click the background here, show disabled and disconnected devices, just to be sure. Alright, seems like your controller and headset are fine then.įirst up, have you restarted the PC? Probably an obvious answer, but sometimes it gets forgotten.
